It can be used with any stack match, remote relay switch, phased antenna system, or 4-square array controller.
LowBandSystem's "Universal Control Console-9" allows you to easily:
-
- Manage any 3-high or 4-high stack match controller (also usable for controlling remote relay switches, phased antenna systems, and 4-square arrays), enabling independent selection of stacked HF beam antennas for TX and RX;
- Control antenna selection based on your transceiver's TX or RX state;
- Drive any brand of remote relay switch with up to 8 control lines, configurable as sink or source;
- Support a secondary, fuse-protected power supply for higher or negative voltage outputs.
Key features:
The Control Console features a total of nine illuminated pushbuttons:
- Four red buttons (ANT-1 through ANT-4) select antennas for TX.
- Four green buttons (ANT-1 through ANT-4) select antennas for RX when the Mode button is engaged.
- A bi-color MODE button enables independent antenna selection for TX and RX, and indicates TX status by illuminating red.
Button labels are easily customizable: simply print your desired text and insert the labels under the transparent button caps.
Each antenna selection button features a simple one-touch ON/OFF toggle, making it easy to control exactly which antennas are active at any given time.
The included software allows you to configure the system for either a three- or four-antenna setup (automatically disabling the 4th button for 3-antenna systems).
Hardware Features:
- Eight output relays.
- Hot-switching protection: Implemented using your transceiver's TX_GND output signal. Say goodbye to hardware failures caused by operator fatigue during contests!
- Amplifier keying delay: Provides an 8 ms delayed TX_GND output signal for other equipment, such as power amplifiers.
- Fuse protection: All output control lines are protected by 1A glass fuses (5x20 mm).
Software & Control: The system is managed by a microcontroller running custom firmware designed to handle complex system functions and ensure intuitive operation. Built-in, programmable truth tables allow you to seamlessly control equipment from:
